GREAT WOOFS is located in Norton MA, not far from what we locally still call Great Woods.
We are a unique dog care facility offering everything you and your dog need in one place!
Our expertly trained play coaches are on hand to provide a safe, fun experience, including games and exercises. While your dog will be having fun, they will also be learning social skills. Dogs are always supervised and never left alone. Great Woofs offers 10,000 square feet of indoor play space and 14,000 square feet of outdoor space. Our large outdoor yard is Turfed. We offer three separate indoor play areas to accommodate different sizes and personalities. With eco-friendly rubber flooring in each play area, that is not only comfy for your dog, but it also reduces injuries because of the excellent traction it provides. We use a water filtration system so the dogs can enjoy fresh, filtered drinking water.
$40 a day; $27 half day
Ten pack: $350 (Must be used within 60 days)
Five pack: $185 (Must be used in 45 days)
We require a 24 hour cancellation for daycare.
You will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 24 hours.
DROP OFF & PICK UP
Drop Off: 7:00am - 9:00am, Monday through Friday
Pick Up: 4:30pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Half Day Pick Up by 1:00pm
A late fee of $10 will be charged if pick up occurs after 6:30 pm. After 7:00 an overnight stay fee will be charged.
REQUIREMENTS FOR DOGS
Veterinarian certificate indicating the current vaccination proof of:
Bordetella Vaccine (Kennel Cough) within the past 6 months
Negative fecal test result within the past 6 months
We do not accept aggressive dogs.
Dogs MUST be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age
We require a temperament test before we will accept any dog into our facility.
At Great Woofs we believe that when you go on vacation your dog should too! After a day of fun with friends, we will lovingly prepare your pup's dinner. Dietary needs and special requests are no problem. We are here to make your dog feel like royalty. When it’s time for bed your fur baby will enjoy our turn down service. A treat on their pillow, bedding lightly misted with lavender essential oils, as well as being diffused throughout the air for a calming, relaxing environment. Himalayan Salt Lamps bring balance, air quality and good energy while your pup sleeps. Canine lullabies will be playing in the background as your dog drifts off to sleep in one of our spacious suites dreaming of all the fun they had that day and of more to come tomorrow.
Overnight stays are provided for our daycare dogs only. Please call or email for availabilty and details.
Daycare dogs must attend daycare at least four times a month for 3 months in order to stay for overnights.
$65 per night (includes daycare)
50% deposit is required for overnight stays when reserervation is made. Deposit is non-refundable if canceled within seven days of reservation.
SUGGESTIONS FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS
Food: We suggest bringing your dog's food so there won’t be any upset tummies.
Treats: If your dog has allergies please send along their favorite treats, otherwise we will be happy to spoil them with our organic and natural treats!
Bedding: If you do not want to bring a bed, we can provide one.
Toys: Feel free send along your pup's favorite toy to have with them at night.
Proper grooming is essential for your dog's comfort and health. Our qualified groomers provides the top quality spa treatment your dog deserves. We only groom one dog at a time, so your pup will have a relaxing experience. Grooming is by appointment only, so when your dog’s done with their spaw day you can pick them up!
Pricing based on individual dog breed, coat, size and temperament.
We do not cage dry, all drying is done by hand.
All Grooms include Hair Cut, Nail Trim, Ear Cleaning, Anal Glands, Brush Out and Blueberry Facial.
Deshedding and Dematting are additional.

LORI DUNBAR - OWNER
For the last ten years as the owner of Pawsmopolitan, Lori has been keeping dogs well-cared for and healthy. Her all natural approach to dog food and supplies has built a loyal clientele, and customers now seek her out for nutritional advice for their dogs. Her own four dogs are her children and the center of her world: Tess, a Welsh Terrier, Gofret, an Airedale Terrier rescue from Istanbul, Adeline Rose, a Bouvier de Flandres and Ophelia, a Briard.
Lori has expanded her vision of providing quality care for dogs in opening a dog happy home away from home environment. She is excited to begin this new venture and raising the bar for what top notch dog care can and should be.
CHRISTINA ZIEGLER - SUPERVISOR
Christina has worked in the animal industry for over four years and counting. From volunteering at a wildlife clinic and animal sanctuary to working at doggie daycare, she plans to continue her career in this field. Christina had completed courses in Animal Behavior, Animal Training, Animal Enrichment, and Animal Minds and Emotions to further continue her education towards becoming an Animal Training and Enrichment Professional. She is an experienced canine handler with extensive knowledge in canine behavior.
Aside from work and school, Christina enjoys hiking and adventuring with her lab mix, Bowser.
MEGHAN HUBLER - Trainer/Play Coach
Meghan Hubler, ABCDT, has been working with dogs for over 15 years. She started in rescue work as a foster home, then went for a certification in dog training. Meghan loves going to seminars and conferences about dog behavior and training to continue her education. She is also a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
Meghan lives on a small farm with her husband and two teenage girls. They have a small pack of family dogs, ranging in sizes from seven pounds to 80 pounds. They also have goats, chickens, rabbits and you may run into a reptile if you were to visit her at home. She enjoys riding horses, as well as traveling to visit family on Cape Cod and Tennessee.
Laura Noe - PLAY COACH
A lifelong animal lover, Laura has spent the past seven years dedicated to her passion for all creatures great and small. While attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst she had the opportunity to study and work with a wide variety of species ranging from mice to camelids, and developed an especially strong love for dairy cows and calves. After relocating to southeastern Massachusetts, Laura decided to pursue her affinity for dogs and has been working in doggy daycare for the past three years. In that time she has been able to further her understanding of dog behavior and body language and hopes to continue working in the field of behaviorism.
When she is not at work, Laura enjoys adventuring with her pittie-mix and visiting her family in Connecticut. She has always loved spending her down time reading and writing, and is also a movie lover.
RENEE BAGGE - GROOMER/PLAY COACH
Even as a young child, Renee had a love for animals. She attended Norfolk County Agricultural high school, where she majored in canine science. Within this field, she studied dog grooming, breeds, handling, training and behavior. Renee is an experienced dog walker and handler, as well as a professional groomer. She has been refining her skills in grooming for three years and continues to actively study new techniques.
Renee has two beloved pets, Ducati, a blue tongue skink lizard and Brandi, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Brandi is Renee's constant companion and best friend. She accompanies Renee everywhere. You might even spot her at Great Woofs!
LYNN MITCHAM - GROOMER
When Lynn was young she would walk over to the grooming shop that her family took their dog to and would ask to sweep the floors and walk the owners Rottie-Shepard mix. Because of her love of animals and riding horses she decided to go to the Norfolk Aggie for High School and major in Equine Sciences, only to graduate majoring in Agricultural Mechanics. Shortly after High School she started working as a brusher and bather part time, learning the basics of grooming.
After many years of working part time at the groomers she decided to train full time and has been grooming professionally for 8 years and does dog sitting on the side. Having owned dogs and cats her whole life she is now a pet parent to a bunny named Cinder and a Crested Gecko named Mr. Sticky Fingers.
On her free time she enjoys spending time doing outdoor adventures with her 9 year old daughter and her husband. She still finds time to get some riding time in at the barn and working out at the gym.
LINDSEY CARLSON - PLAY COACH
Animals have been Lindsey's passion her whole life. She has walked and taken care of many of her neighborhood dogs since the age of 12. After her move last year she starting as a dog walker and takes care of a wide range of local dogs.
Much of Lindsey's time is spent hiking as well as organizing camping trips in the summer. She thoroughly enjoys nature and loves taking dogs with her to explore new places together. She has worked with dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and even a horse. She aspires to get a degree in wildlife conservation to further her goal of helping all kinds of animals.
ABIGAIL DUROSS - Play Coach
Abigail attended Bristol County Agricultural High School, studying Agricultural Mechanics. She has a strong love for all animals, especially dogs and horses. She has been riding and caring for horses for over ten years and owns an off the track thoroughbred for the past three years. Abigail also has owned a cockapoo for nine years. She enjoys spending time working at the barn with her horse and spending time playing with her dog. She competes at horse shows and when not competing, she grooms for other riders.
